Make yourself an indulgent breakfast that includes all the iconic morning favorites like hash browns, crispy fried bacon [HL6] and poached eggs are decorated with melted Sargento® Shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese on top. This meal will leave you with a full tummy and a smile on your face!

  • 2 Tbsp. butter or bacon drippings
  • 3 cups (12 oz.) frozen O’Brien potatoes (potatoes, onions and bell peppers), thawed
  • 3/4 cup (3 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided
  • 4 large eggs, poached or fried over easy
  • 2 Tbsp. bottled chili sauce or catsup
  • 1 tsp. bottled harissa sauce* or 1/2 tsp. siracha hot sauce
  1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add potatoes; sauté until golden brown and heated through, 6 to 8 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine chili sauce and harissa sauce in a small bowl.
  3. Stir 1/2 cup of the cheese into potatoes; transfer to 2 serving plates. Top with eggs and remaining cheese. Serve with sauce.
