This cheesy guacamole dip is excellent for dipping and we’re sure everyone will love it. It’s made with smooth, creamy avocados mixed with sour cream and zesty chunky salsa — as well as some rich tasting Sargento® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Traditional Cut to ensure every tortilla chip scoops up all of the delicious flavors!

  • 2 avocados
  • 1 container (16 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Traditional Cut or Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Traditional Cut, divided
  • 1 (1 cup) large tomato, chopped, divided
  • 3 Tbsp. sliced ripe olives (optional)
  • Tortilla chips
  1. Peel and seed avocados. Mash avocados in large bowl with fork. Add sour cream, salsa, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup tomato; mix well.
  2. Cover mixture; chill 1 hour. Before serving sprinkle remaining cheese and tomatoes over dip. Top with olives, if desired. Serve with chips.
