- Pre-heat oven to broil. In a pie plate or shallow tart pan, combine jalapeño peppers and oil. Toss to coat.
- Broil peppers 4 inches from heat for 2-3 minutes or until lightly charred. Remove from oven and set aside.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients except for 1 cup of cheese. Stir until well blended.
- Stir into pan with broiled jalapeño peppers. Top with remaining cup of cheese.
- Broil for 4-6 minutes or until warm and lightly browned. Sprinkle green onion on top if desired. Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.

The spice lovers enjoyed this dip. Kept it simple and easy to prepare. Did not add bacon. I save that for my BLT Dip which the a hot pepper haters love. Will add this to my occasionally rotation of snacks.
