Create this salad when you're in the mood for a treat. Its tostada shells are layered with fresh greens, sliced mushrooms, chopped bell peppers, fresh basil leaves and pesto sauce tossed in an Italian dressing and Sargento® Shredded 6 Cheese Italian. You'll enjoy ideal flavor in every bite.

  • 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® Shredded 6 Cheese Italian
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. Italian salad dressing
  • 1 Tbsp. basil pesto sauce
  • 4 prepared tostada shells or fried tortillas
  1. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except tostada shells; toss well.
  2. Top shells with salad.
