A salad that is packed with tons of taste can be a meal on its own or a great side salad for any main course of your choice when it's packed with lettuce, peppers, olives, salami and spicy pepperoncini peppers tossed in Caesar salad dressing and Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese for lots of smooth flavor in every helping.

  • 6 cups romaine lettuce leaves, torn
  • 1/2 cup diced, drained roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup halved, pitted kalamata or black olives
  • 4 oz. (1 cup) sliced salami or pepperoni, cut into strips
  • 4 pepperoncini peppers, sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Italian or Caesar salad dressing
  • 1-3/4 cups (7 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella & Provolone Cheese, divided
  • 1 cup garlic flavored croutons
  • Pepper (optional)
  1. Combine lettuce, peppers, olives, salami and, pepperoncini peppers, if desired, in large bowl. Add salad dressing; toss.
  2. Add 1-1/4 cups cheese and croutons; toss. Transfer to serving plates; top with remaining cheese and serve with pepper, if desired.
