Our cheesy spaetzle is the perfect companion for any feast. Enjoy melted cheesy flavor from Sargento® Shredded Swiss Cheese, garlic-seasoned mushrooms and pepper. This simple dish isn't so simple in flavor — and you'll enjoy this lovely side dish with your next meal.

  • 1 pkg. (9 oz.) spaetzle, cooked according to package directions, drained, divided
  • 1 container (8 oz.) sliced fresh mushrooms, divided
  • Garlic salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Swiss Cheese
  1. Coat 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Spread half spaetzle in bottom of dish; top with half mushrooms.
  2. Sprinkle garlic salt and pepper lightly over mixture. Arrange half of cheese over mixture. Repeat layering with remaining spaetzle, mushrooms, garlic, salt, pepper and cheese.
  3. Bake in preheated 400°F oven 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
