Top flatbread toasts with this savory medley of classic fresh bruschetta ingredients along with finely chopped Kalamata olives and garlic with a sprinkling of Sargento® Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Italian to give these appetizer bites an authentic Italian flavor.

  • 1 large ripe tomato, seeded, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. finely chopped pitted kalamata olives
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes or black pepper
  • 3/4 cup (3 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Italian
  • 16 rectangular flatbread crackers (about 3-1/2 x 1-1/2 inches)
  1. Combine tomato, olives, basil, oil, vinegar, garlic and pepper flakes; mix well.
  2. Add cheese; mix well. Serve immediately or chill up to 2 hours and spoon onto flatbread crackers just before serving
