This Italian salad has it all: crispy lettuce, sliced plum tomatoes, strips of salami, Sargento® Sliced Reduced Fat Provolone Cheese, marinated artichokes, olives and freshly chopped herbs. Add your favorite Italian or Caesar dressing and you can’t go wrong!

  • 8 cups packed torn or sliced romaine lettuce (1 large head)
  • 4 small plum tomatoes, cut lengthwise into quarters
  • 8 slices Sargento® Sliced Reduced Fat Provolone Cheese, cut into strips
  • 4 oz. deli sliced Genoa salami, cut into strips
  • 1 (6 to 7 ounce) jar marinated artichokes, drained
  • 1/3 cup halved pitted kalamata olives
  • 1/3 cup light Italian or Caesar salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or Italian parsley
  • Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
  1. Arrange lettuce on four large serving plates. Arrange tomato wedges around edges of salads. Arrange cheese and salami strips, artichokes and olives over salad.
  2. Just before serving, drizzle dressing over salads; top with basil and serve with pepper if desired.
