Dig into this supremely cheesy lasagna that’s made with beef simmered in a red sauce with onions and garlic, plus a blend of cheeses including Sargento® Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese and fresh parsley. Every layer in this dish is filled with each flavor from hearty, to cheesy and savory making each bite exquisitely tasty.

  • 1-1/4 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (48 oz.) spaghetti sauce
  • 2 cups (15 oz.) Sargento® Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/4 cup (1 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
  • Dash of salt
  • Dash of oregano
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
  • 6 cups (24 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mozzarella - Traditional Cut
  1. Heat large skillet over medium heat; add onion, garlic and crumbled beef into skillet and cook, stirring 7 minutes or until no longer pink; pour off drippings. Stir in pasta sauce; set aside. Stir together Ricotta and Parmesan cheeses, parsley, salt, oregano and eggs in medium bowl.
  2. Spread thin layer of meat sauce in 9x13-inch baking pan. Layer 1/3 lasagna noodles, 1/3 cheese mixture, 1/3 meat sauce and 1/3 Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layering two times. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 45 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
