Create a handmade burger patty using freshly ground meat of your choice and chopped ingredients like parsley, chives and garlic. Top them off with a layer of Sargento® Colby-Jack Slices and pieces of crisply cooked bacon for an authentic all-American cheeseburger with tons of taste.

  • 1-1/3 lb. ground beef or turkey
  • 2 Tbsp. each: chopped fresh chives and parsley
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 slices Sargento® Colby-Jack Slices
  • 4 Kaiser or onion rolls, split
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, halved
  • 4 leaf lettuce leaves
  • Optional condiments: catsup, mustard, mayonnaise
  1. Combine meat, chives, parsley, garlic salt and pepper; mix well. Shape into four 1/2-inch thick patties.
  2. Grill patties on a covered preheated medium-hot grill 5 minutes per side. Place cheese over patties and arrange rolls on grill. Grill 1 minute or until cheese is melted and rolls are lightly toasted.
  3. Serve patties in rolls with lettuce, bacon and condiments as desired.
