A cheesy casserole is always a great option when hosting breakfast or brunch. This dish combines savory cocktail sausages, layered hash brown patties and eggs that are whipped up with a generous helping of Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut for a perfectly gooey texture and lovely cheesy taste.

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 frozen hash brown patties
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt, divided
  • 1 tsp. black pepper, divided
  • 1 pkg. (14 oz.) cocktail sausages
  • 1 ½ cups (6 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut
  • Optional toppings: salsa, ketchup,chopped green onions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, mix eggs and milk; set aside.
  2. Spray a 9x13-inch glass baking pan with nonstick spray. Place frozen hash browns on bottom of dish. Sprinkle with half the salt and pepper. Layer sausages over hash browns and top with cheese. Pour egg mixture over and sprinkle with remaining salt and pepper.
  3. Bake 45 minutes, or until eggs are set and top is lightly browned. Serve with salsa, ketchup, chopped green onions.
