With a healthy serving of fresh chopped vegetables, eggs and smoky bacon, the omelet filling for these wraps is not only delicious but nutritious too! Once you’ve whipped everything up and are ready to wrap it in warmed flour tortillas, a helping of Sargento® Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese will add just the right about of cheesy goodness.

  • 1 Tbsp. butter or olive oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped red or green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1-1/4 cups (5 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Double Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 (7 to 8-inch) flour tortillas or flavored wraps, warmed
  1. Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add bell pepper; cook 4 minutes, stirring frequently. Add green onions; cook 1 minute.
  2. Beat together eggs, egg whites, salt and pepper. Add to skillet; cook and stir until eggs are almost set. Stir in bacon and cheese. When cheese is melted and eggs are set, remove from heat. Spoon into tortillas; roll up.
