For more than a decade, Sargento Foods has teamed up with the Green Bay Packers to help defeat hunger in our community. Every time the Packers score a touchdown during the regular NFL season, Sargento donates $500 to Paul’s Pantry through our Touchdowns for Hunger program. Over 12 NFL seasons, Sargento has donated more than $300,000 to Paul’s Pantry.
In this time of uncertainty and great need, Sargento continues our commitment to Paul’s Pantry by starting the Touchdowns for Hunger program well before the Packers take the field. Recently, we let the leadership of Paul’s Pantry know that we – the Packers and Sargento – would financially support their important work right now.
Paul’s Pantry was founded in 1984. The pantry receives no federal, state or local tax revenue, nor does it receive funding from Feeding America or United Way. It relies entirely on the community, a three-way partnership made up of volunteer, food supplier, and donor.
We’re proud to help our community in a real way, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our community has given the Sargento Family so much and we believe it’s our responsibility to give back.
