<p>Cheese soup and mac and cheese, made with Sargento® Block Sharp Cheddar-Jack Natural Cheese, are fabulous on their own. This recipe combines both to create a rich and creamy soup. Chopped chives add a mild onion flavor that goes great with this cheesalicious soup.</p>
- In a large saucepan combine chicken broth and half and half. Bring to a simmer. Stir in macaroni. Cook over medium-low heat for 15 minutes or until pasta is al dente.
- Stir in cream cheese, garlic powder, pepper, and ¾ of cheese. Cook on low, stirring often until thickened and creamy. Ladle into bowls. Top with remaining cheese and chopped chives. Serve.
