Mac & Cheese Mugs Recipe

These super simple mac & cheese recipes combine ingredients in a mug and take less than 10 minutes to prepare from start to finish. There is a basic recipe, a pizza mac & cheese, a creamy, cheesy garlic and herb, and a mexi version that combines the flavor of tacos with a creamy mac & cheese.

Directions
  1. Basic Mac & Cheese Mug: Add milk, butter, mozzarella and half of the cheddar to a large mug. Microwave on high for 1 minute.
    Stir in macaroni and pepper. Top with remaining cheddar and and microwave for another 1 minute. Stir until macaroni is soft and cheese has fully melted. Serve
  2. Pizza Mac & Cheese Mug: Combine alfredo sauce, half of the cheese, pepperoni and parsley in a large mug. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir in macaroni, then spoon marinara sauce on top. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Microwave an additional 1 minute or until cheese is melted on top. Stir gently and serve.

     
  3. Mexi Mac & Cheese Mug: Combine the milk, vegetable oil and taco seasoning in a large mug. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Add half of the cheese, the macaroni, the chicken and the remaining cheese on top. Stir to combine. Microwave on high for 1 minute & stir until macaroni is soft and cheese is completely melted.
    Serve.

     
  4. Garlic & Herb Mac & Cheese: Add the milk, and next 5 ingredients in a large mug. Microwave on high for 45 seconds or until hot. Add half of the cheese and the macaroni. Top with the remaining cheese. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir mixture with a spoon. Microwave another 1 minute or until hot and cheese is melted completely. Serve.
