The combination of thinly sliced prosciutto and cantaloupe melon is a signature Italian combination of flavors. We’ve put them together in a panino along with Sargento® Sliced Baby Swiss Cheese for one of the tastiest treats you can make yourself today.

  • 2 (4-inch) focaccia, split
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic syrup or balsamic vinegar reduction
  • 4 slices Sargento® Sliced Baby Swiss Cheese
  • 2 oz. prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 4 thin slices (1/4-inch thick) honeydew or cantaloupe melon
  1. Preheat panini grill to high.
  2. Place focaccia, cut side down, on a work surface and brush crusts with oil. Turn focaccia over and brush with balsamic syrup. Layer cheese, prosciutto, melon and cheese between focaccia and press gently.
  3. Place sandwiches in grill; close the top plate and cook until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately.
