At your next party, grateful guests will around this pot of delicious dipping cheese made from a blend of Sargento® Shredded Swiss Cheese and a bit of tangy mustard and white wine. The garlicky notes and velvety texture of this fondue make it deal for cubed French bread dippers.

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 pkgs. (1.25 oz. each) white sauce mix
  • 1-1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tsp. prepared or Dijon mustard
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Swiss Cheese
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut or Sargento® Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 loaf French bread, cut into 1-1/2-inch cubes
  1. Rub inside of fondue pot with garlic clove. Place sauce mix in pan; whisk in milk. Place over medium heat; bring to a simmer, whisking frequently.
  2. Reduce heat to low; whisk in mustard. Gradually add cheeses, whisking constantly, until cheese is melted. (Mixture will be very thick). Gradually whisk in wine. Serve with bread cubes for dipping.
