We have been using your 8oz Sliced Sharp Cheddar 11ct cheese purchased at Publix (Walden Woods, Plant City FL) for the past few years and have enjoyed the experience until recently. I am now retired but have spent over 30 years managing public refrigerated warehouse facilities and recently have experienced what appears to be crumbly slices which I would believe, based upon my experience, to be caused by freezing the product at some point in the distribution cycle. Inasmuch as this is a fairly recent occurrence, I would suspect that the thermal abuse is with the retailer and not a result of anything your company may have initiated.
The most recent product has a code date of 12 AUG 26, with a production stamp of K4G16:46 and a UPC of 46100 00113.
I wanted to make you aware as most customers might not draw a similar conclusion and the quality issue would be attributed to Sargento.

Sliced or grated cheese is the best. It is all I buy. Nothing compared to the quality and taste of this cheese. Never will buy anything else.
