Make this delicious Caesar salad at home with your very own handmade dressing whisked up with a handful of ingredients that will achieve the perfect balance of flavors. For an added fancy touch, top your heaping salad with Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. mashed anchovies or anchovy paste (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 8 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Croutons (optional)
  1. Combine garlic, salt, pepper and anchovies in small bowl. Whisk in lemon juice and mayonnaise. Slowly add oil, whisking until smooth and thickened.
  2. Gently toss together lettuce and dressing in large bowl; add cheese. Toss gently. Top with croutons, if desired.
