Caesar salads are perfect for any meal at any time. The abundance of savory flavors with a classic touch of anchovies, garlic and Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese sprinkled on top along with crunchy croutons can’t be beat. Dig in and savor the flavor!

  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. mashed anchovies or anchovy paste (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 8 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Croutons (optional)
  1. Combine garlic, anchovies, if desired, salt and pepper in small bowl. Whisk in lemon juice and mayonnaise. Slowly add oil, whisking until smooth and thickened.
  2. Gently toss together lettuce and dressing in large bowl; add cheese. Toss gently. Top with croutons, if desired.
