Not all sandwiches have to be full of savory meats and salty spices. Buttery pieces of cinnamon swirl bread with sliced pears covered in melted Sargento® Ultra Thin® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices make an incredible mix of ingredients for a meal that’s perfect anytime.

  • 4 tsp. butter, softened
  • 4 slices cinnamon raisin or cinnamon swirl bread
  • 6 slices Sargento® Ultra Thin® Sharp Cheddar Cheese Slices
  • 6 thin slices ripe Anjou or Bartlett pear
  1. Spread butter over 1 side of each slice bread. Turn 2 slices over; top each with 1-1/2 slices cheese, tearing to fit.
  2. Top with pear slices, remaining 1-1/2 slices cheese and bread buttered sides up.
  3. Cook in a preheated panini maker for 3 minutes or in a nonstick skillet for 3 minutes per side.
