Chicken and Waffle Breakfast Sandwich

Quick and easy chicken and waffles topped with melted ages gouda. This one is sure to become a weekend family favorite. Use store-bought waffles or make them yourself.

  • 8 ea. Frozen breaded chicken tenders
  • 3 Tbsp. Maple syrup, plus extra for serving
  • 1 Tbsp. Sriracha sauce
  • 8 ea. Store-bought waffles
  • 8 slices Sargento® Reserve Series™ Aged Gouda
  1. Cook chicken according to package directions until hot and crispy.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine syrup and sriracha sauce. Add chicken and toss until coated in the maple mixture; keep warm.
  3. Toast the waffles according to package directions.
  4. Preheat the broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place four waffles on baking sheet. Top each waffle with chicken. Top chicken with cheese. Place under the broiler, 6 inches away from the heat source, for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Add remaining waffles to the top. Serve drizzle with extra maple syrup if desired.
