We present to you the most picnic perfect sandwich you could imagine. This absolutely delicious recipe calls for a double dosage of yummy by including Sargento® Sliced Mozzarella Cheese. With all of these flavorful elements combined and surrounded by a wholesome and nutty flavored wheat bread, we’re sure this recipe will become one of your summer staples, especially when lunchtime rolls around.

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 Tbsp. light mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • 6 spinach or 2 romaine leaves
  • 1 slice Sargento® Sliced Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 thin tomato slices
  • 2 oz. sliced turkey breast
  • 1/4 cup alfalfa sprouts
  • 2 red bell pepper rings
  • 1 slice Sargento® Sliced Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese
  1. Spread 1 slice of bread with mayonnaise.
  2. Layer spinach, Mozzarella, tomato, turkey, alfalfa sprouts, bell pepper rings and Swiss.
  3. Spread remaining slice of bread with mustard; close sandwich
