A popular Mexican-style meal like quesadillas can be converted into finger food snacks in a snap. Use chili powder to add some heat and Sargento® Shredded Authentic Mexican Cheese to create a gooey and satisfying center, and then cut the fused tortillas into mini triangles that are ideal for dipping.

  • 8 (6-inch) flour tortillas
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Authentic Mexican Cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro or sliced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp. canola or vegetable oil, divided
  • Chili powder
  • Optional toppings: Sour cream, salsa, guacamole
  1. Arrange 4 tortillas on a large foil-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle cheese and cilantro over tortillas; top with remaining 4 tortillas. Brush half of oil over tortillas; sprinkle lightly with chili powder.
  2. Bake in a preheated 450°F oven 5 minutes. Use a large spatula to turn quesadillas over. Brush remaining oil over quesadillas; sprinkle lightly with chili powder. Return to oven; bake 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted. Cut each quesadilla into 6 wedges. Serve warm with optional toppings.
