These stuffed pitas with Cobb salad essentials like chopped tomato, diced avocado and chicken or turkey go great with bacon bits and the rich flavor of Sargento® Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese. They’re a filing and balanced meal whenever you’re in the mood for Cobb flavor in a sandwich.

  • 1 cup (4 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Cheddar Jack Cheese
  • 1 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 ripe avocado, diced
  • 1 cup diced, cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1/3 cup crisply cooked, crumbled bacon or bacon bits
  • 1/3 cup Thousand Island or Italian salad dressing
  • 4 (6-inch) pita breads, halved
  • Romaine or red leaf lettuce leaves
  1. Combine cheese, tomato, avocado, chicken, bacon and dressing in medium bowl.
  2. Open pita breads; line with lettuce leaves and fill with cheese mixture.
