Crispy bacon, Sargento® Smokehouse Cheddar™ Cheese and your favorite savory jam combine for a mouthwatering burger.

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp. steak seasoning
  • 4 slices Sargento® Smokehouse Cheddar™ Cheese
  • 4 brioche burger buns, split
  • 1/4 cup savory tomato or onion jam
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, halved
  • 1 cup arugula
  1. Mix together ground beef, garlic, egg, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Form into 4 patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Preheat grill to medium heat; grease grate well. Place patties on grill; close lid and cook, turning once, for about 10 minutes or until cooked through. Top patties with cheese during last minute of cooking to melt.
  3. Spread buns with savory jam; layer patties, bacon and arugula on bottoms of buns. Cap with tops of buns. Tip: For an added kick, add a dash of hot sauce to burger patties.
