A simple dish that is perfect for hosting a breakfast or brunch meal. Filled with savory ingredients like cubed ham, broccoli and Dijon mustard mixed in with fluffy eggs and a hearty helping of Sargento® Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Italian, this casserole delivers a smooth and rich cheesy flavor.

  • 1 loaf (8 oz.) French or Italian bread, preferably day-old, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
  • 8 oz. ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1-1/2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Italian
  • 1-1/2 cups Egg Beaters®
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2-1/2 cups milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  1. Layer half the bread, half the ham, broccoli and 1 cup cheese in greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Repeat layering with remaining bread, ham and cheese, pressing lightly. (Dish will be very full.)
  2. Blend Egg Beaters, mustard, milk and butter in bowl. Pour over cheese mixture. Let stand 15 minutes. Bake in preheated 350°F oven 45 minutes or until golden brown.
