Our delightful Cheddar onion biscuits are the perfect addition to any meal with their light and pleasant texture and wonderfully mild taste. Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut provides just the right about of rich flavor without being too overpowering and onions give these biscuits a savory yet familiar flavor.

  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 cups all-purpose baking mix
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese - Fine Cut
  1. Cook onion and butter in small skillet over medium heat 9 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and golden brown; transfer to medium bowl.
  2. Add baking mix, milk and cheese to bowl; mix until dry ingredients are moistened.
  3. Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 425°F oven 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
