Turkey Burgers
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1/3 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped Spanish onion
- 1-½ Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
- 1 small clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (2 oz.) Sargento® Shredded Reduced Sodium Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 4 slices Sargento® Sliced Reduced Sodium Colby-Jack or Provolone Cheese
- 4 whole wheat hamburger buns
- =Optional toppings:
- Lettuce leaves
- Cucumber slices
- Red onion slices
- Cranberry
DIRECTIONS

Combine all ingredients except sliced cheese and buns and form into 4 equal-sized patties. Place on a medium-high heat grill for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Top with sliced cheese. Heat just until cheese melts.
