Very Cheddar Cranberry Muffin Tops
Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) Sargento® ChefStyle Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 cup prepared cranberry-orange relish
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- 1 egg
Glaze:
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cranberry-orange relish
- 1-1/2 to 2 Tbsp. milk
Directions
- Combine biscuit mix, cheese, sugar and cloves in large bowl. Combine 1/2 cup relish, milk, butter and egg in medium bowl. Add liquid to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
- Lightly grease two baking sheets. Drop batter by level 1/3 cup measure onto baking sheets 2 inches apart. Bake in preheated 375°F oven 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- For glaze, combine confectioners sugar, relish and enough milk to make a drizzling consistency. Transfer muffin tops to cooling rack placed over a sheet of wax paper; drizzle glaze over muffin tops. Serve warm or at room temperature.
