Cut a slit in side of each date; remove and discard pit. Stack cheese and cut into 6 strips. Cut strips in half crosswise. Stuff 3 to 4 cheese strips into each date; press slit together enclosing cheese.
Wrap one piece of bacon around each stuffed date making sure to cover slit entirely. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated 425°F oven 6 minutes. Turn dates over; continue baking 6 minutes or until bacon is crisp. Cool 5 minutes; transfer to serving platter.
