Farmstead Turkey & Cheddar Heroes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. spicy brown mustard
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried
- 1 (12-inch long, 3-inch diameter) whole wheat or sourdough baguette, split lengthwise*
- 1 cup fresh arugula or watercress sprigs
- 1/2 cup sliced well-drained bottled roasted red or yellow bell peppers
- 2 thin slices red onion, separated into rings
- 4 oz. deli sliced turkey pastrami or smoked turkey
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Medium Cheddar Cheese , cut in half diagonally
DIRECTIONS

Combine mayonnaise, mustard and thyme; mix well. Spread onto cut sides of baguette.

Layer arugula, roasted peppers, onion rings, turkey and cheese on bottom of baguette. Close with top of baguette; cut crosswise in half.
