Cheddar Apple Chicken Pitas
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup unpeeled, diced apple
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup light mayonnaise
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon or spicy brown mustard
- 4 6-inch whole wheat or white pita breads
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Cheddar Cheese or Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Colby Cheese, cut into halves
- 8 romaine lettuce leaves
Directions
- Combine chicken, apple, celery, mayonnaise and mustard in medium bowl.
- Cut pita pockets into halves; open each pocket. Line each pocket with 1/2 slice cheese and one lettuce leaf. Fill pockets with chicken mixture.
