Cheddar Barbecued Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
- 2 tsp. olive oil or butter
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 (14-16 oz.) pork tenderloin
- 4 French rolls, split
- 4 slices Sargento® Deli Style Sliced Mild Cheddar Cheese
Directions
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion slices; cook 2 minutes. Reduce heat to medium; cook 12 minutes or until onions are tender, stirring frequently. Add barbeque sauce; cook 2 minutes.
- Season pork with salt and pepper. Place pork under preheated broiler 4 inches from heat; Broil 6 - 8 minutes per side or until pork reaches 160°F at center. Transfer to a cutting board; let stand 5 mintues.
- Cut pork into thin slices and add to onion mixture; cook 3 minutes. Fill rolls with barbecued pork mixture and cheese. Serve warm.
