Sausalito Grilled Pizza
INGREDIENTS
- 1 Tbsp. garlic flavored or extra virgin olive oil
- 1 red or yellow bell pepper, quartered lengthwise
- 8 oz. asparagus spears, ends trimmed
- 2 slices (1/4-inch thick) red or sweet onion
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/3 cup pesto sauce or sun-dried tomato spread
- 1 (12-inch) prepared pizza crust
- 1-1/2 cups (6 oz.) Sargento® Fancy Shredded 6 Cheese Italian Cheese
DIRECTIONS

Brush oil over bell pepper quarters, asparagus spears and onion slices; season with salt and pepper. Grill over medium coals 10 minutes or until tender, turning once. Cut peppers into strips, asparagus into 1-inch pieces and separate onion slices into rings.

Spread pesto sauce over pizza crust; top with vegetables and cheese. Place on grill over medium-low coals; grill 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and pizza is hot. Cut into wedges.
