Sicilian Chopped Salad
INGREDIENTS
- 6 cups romaine lettuce leaves, torn
- 1/2 cup diced, drained roasted red peppers
- 1/2 cup halved, pitted kalamata or black olives
- 4 oz. (1 cup) sliced salami or pepperoni, cut into strips
- 4 pepperoncini peppers, sliced (optional)
- 1/2 cup Italian or Caesar salad dressing
- 1-3/4 cups (7 oz.) Sargento® Bistro® Blends Shredded Mozzarella & Asiago Cheese with Roasted Garlic, divided
- 1 cup garlic flavored croutons
- Pepper (optional)
DIRECTIONS

Combine lettuce, peppers, olives, salami and, pepperoncini peppers, if desired, in large bowl. Add salad dressing; toss.

Add 1-1/4 cups cheese and croutons; toss. Transfer to serving plates; top with remaining cheese and serve with pepper, if desired.
